Cookies
We measure this website with SpoorFox itself. It uses a few first party cookies and browser storage for that, and nothing from advertising networks or other third parties.
What we use
The SpoorFox tracker runs on our own SpoorFox environment, hosted in the EU. It measures visits, pages, clicks, scroll depth and, for some visits, a recording of the session with all form inputs masked. The data stays in our environment and is not shared with advertisers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _rv_id | Cookie and local storage | Recognizes a returning visitor so visits can be counted and linked | 400 days |
| _rv_s | Cookie and session storage | Groups page views into one visit | 30 minutes of inactivity |
| _rv_ft, _rv_lt | Local storage | Remembers the first and the latest campaign or referrer that brought you here | Until cleared |
| _rv_q | Local storage | Holds measurements that could not be sent yet, so they are not lost | Until sent |
| _rv_optout, _rv_consent | Cookie and local storage | Remembers that you opted out of measurement | Until cleared |
Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track may not be measured, depending on our settings.
Opting out
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. You can also email privacy@spoorfox.com to have the data about your visits removed.
The SpoorFox application
Signed in users of the SpoorFox application receive a strictly necessary session cookie to keep them signed in. The tracker that customers place on their own websites can run in a cookieless mode; how it is configured is the choice of each customer, who informs their own visitors.
